About

Ashley Byers is from Springfield, Missouri. She grew up working summers at her family's business on Table Rock Lake in a small town called Shell Knob, Missouri.


Ashley Byers graduated from Missouri State University with a BFA in painting in 2011 and received her MFA in Fine Art from the University of Arkansas in 2015. She has shown work nationally in juried shows and has shown internationally in Tehran, Iran. She has received numerous grants and awards, including the MFA Project grant, a fellowship at Mildred's Lane, and the Governor's Scholarship. 

She is currently works and resides in Fayetteville, Arkansas where she is the Education Program Manager at the Community Creative Center and the co-founder and co-director of FEAST gallery, a contemporary art space.
